Evaluations:

In-house evaluations are to be held at Ebb Valley Elementary School (3100 Swiper Dr, Manchester, MD 21102) February 20th and 27th from 1:30- 5:30 for age groups 7/8 through 13/15.

**** ANY PLAYER REQUESTING TO PLAY OUTSIDE OF THEIR AGE GROUP WILL ONLY BE DETERMINED AT PLAYER EVAULATIONS ****

All registrants 7 years and older MUST attend one of the evaluations to be placed on a team.

THERE WILL NOT BE ANY 3 YEAR OLDS ON THE 4 YEAR OLDS TEAMS

THERE WILL NOT BE ANY 16 YEAR OLDS ON THE 13/15 TEAMS

18 YEAR OLDS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE 16/18 TEAM, BUT THEY MUST STILL BE IN HIGH SCHOOL

Helmets:

For sanitary reasons we will NO longer supply helmets for kids to use.

Raffle Ticket Fundraiser:

The Raffle Ticket Fundraiser is Mandatory.  Fundraising raffle tickets will be provided by the coach at your child’s first team practice. This year we will again be selling raffle tickets, but this year we are ONLY requiring each family to purchase 6 raffle tickets at $5.00 a ticket. You will be required to pay the $30.00 with your registration.  It is important to have a fundraiser to help fund the leagues various expenses.  (See the Fundraising page on our website for more information).

HIT-A-THON:

HIT-A-THON (NOT mandatory).  During our End of Season Picnic ceremony, we will hold our annual HIT-A-THON sponsored by 99Pledges.  The HIT-A-THON will be open to boys and girls ages 4 through 18.  For a child to participate in the HIT-A-THON they must get pledges.  For more information on the HIT-A-THON, see the HIT-A-THON flyer on the website when available.

13/15 In House:

13/15 In House.  This is a competitive semi-travel baseball league and NOT all MBA In-House rules apply.  If you have any questions, please contact us.

Volunteers:

Volunteers are needed throughout the season, from coaches, field maintenance, team parents and various committee members.  Please comment on your registration form if you have an interest in joining the team. Each family will be required to work (1) game at Christmas Tree Park’s concessions stand when they are the home team. Sign-up sheets will be posted online once schedules are determined in March/April.

Registration Fees:

  • $75.00 for ages 4 – Single A  (T-Ball)
  • $80.00 for ages 5/6 – Double A  (Coach Pitch)
  • $90.00 for ages 7/8 – Triple A (Kid Pitch / Coach Pitch)
  • $115.00 for ages 9/10 – Minors (Kid Pitch)
  • $125.00 for ages 11/12 – Majors
  • $190.00 for ages 13/15 – Seniors
  • $200.00 for ages 16/18 – Stallions

Evaluations:

Hello Folks,

We are very excited about Manchester Blue Sox travel baseball for the upcoming 2020 season. We want to communicate the travel tryout dates for next years teams. Tryouts will be held on Saturday July 20th, 2019 and Saturday August 3rd, 2019 for 8-16-year olds at Christmas Tree Park.

We will also be holding a meeting for any travel coach interested in coaching next year on Monday July 8th at the North Carroll Senior Center from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  It is extremely important for you to attend this meeting if you plan on coaching a travel team in 2020. If you cannot attend this meeting please email Ben Lamp (baseball.ben@yahoo.com) and let him know, so he can setup a make-up date?

Potter Baseball will again this year make a stop in Manchester on Sunday June 30 on the Christmas Tree Park "D" Field.  Various events are planned for the day in and around Manchester including a baseball clinic and Potter Tour Game.  Last year’s stop in Manchester was a huge success with many of the boys wanting to return again this year.  The following link will provide ALL the details on Potter Baseball event on June 30th:
