In-House evaluations will be held in the 4-Seasons Sports Complex in Hampstead. All children requesting to play in 7/8, 9/10 & 11/12 must attend ONE of the evaluations, while the evaluations for 13/15 and 16/18 will be held at a later time. If you have any special request on your registration YOU must attend ONE of the evaluations if you want your request to be considered. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your evaluation time to check in. Remember ALL registrations are being done online so you won’t be able to register at the evaluations. The following are the evaluation times:

The 13/15 coaches are inviting ALL players eligible to play for Manchester Baseball in our 13/15 age groups this spring to our FREE in-door practices on Friday nights in the North Carroll High Schools Upper Gym. The entrance to the gym is through main gym doors on Panther Drive. The following are the dates and times they will be practicing:
Friday March 1st 7 PM to 9 PM
Friday March 8th, 15th & 22nd from 7:30 PM to 9 PM
Please have your child bring their glove and bat.
There is no need to register for this practice, just show up ready to practice!!
Manchester Baseball is excited to announce we will be hosting three evenings of clinics/instruction for any interested players in the 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 age groups on March 8th, 15th and 22nd at North Carroll High School.
The sessions will run from 6-7:30 and be held in the gyms (with potentially some time outside on the 15th and 22nd). Multiple skills and drills will be covered (including opportunities for players to work on pitching). This is intended to be a great and fun opportunity for players to get some preseason work in prior to practices beginning later in March.
There is no cost for the sessions but if interested, please register at the link below to recieve further information/updates.

All registrants 7 years and older MUST attend one of the evaluations to be placed on a team.

THERE WILL NOT BE ANY 16 YEAR OLDS ON THE 13/15 TEAMS
18 YEAR OLDS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE 16/18 TEAM, BUT THEY MUST STILL BE IN HIGH SCHOOL
Helmets:
For sanitary reasons we will NO longer supply helmets for kids to use.
Raffle Ticket Fundraiser:
The Raffle Ticket Fundraiser is Mandatory. Fundraising raffle tickets will be provided by the coach at your child’s first team practice. This year we will again be selling raffle tickets, but this year we are ONLY requiring each family to purchase 6 raffle tickets at $5.00 a ticket. You will be required to pay the $30.00 with your registration. It is important to have a fundraiser to help fund the leagues various expenses. (See the Fundraising page on our website for more information).
HIT-A-THON:
HIT-A-THON (NOT mandatory). After our Opening Day ceremony, we will hold our 4th annual HIT-A-THON sponsored by 99Pledges and our local TOFF (Tree of Friends Foundation) Group. The HIT-A-THON will be open to boys and girls ages 4 through 18. For a child to participate in the HIT-A-THON they must get pledges. For more information on the HIT-A-THON, see the HIT-A-THON flyer on the website or near the end of this registration packet.
13/15 In House:
13/15 In House. There is traveling required during the week and weekends within Carroll County. All home games and practices are at Cape Horn Park. This is a competitive semi-travel baseball league and not all MBA In-House rules apply. If you have any questions, please contact us at manchesterbaseballassociation@gmail.com.

Volunteers are needed throughout the season, from field maintenance, team parents and various committee members. Please comment on your registration form if you have an interest in joining the team. We are very excited about Manchester Blue Sox travel baseball for the upcoming 2019 season. We want to communicate the travel tryout dates for next year teams. Tryouts will be held on Saturday July 28th, 2018 and Saturday August 4th, 2018 for 8-16-year olds at Christmas Tree Park.
2019 Travel Baseball Age Groups/Coaches:
We will also be holding a meeting for any travel coach interested in coaching next year on Thursday July 12th at the North Carroll Senior center from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It is extremely important for you to attend this meeting if you plan on coaching a travel team in 2019.
